i'm starting a portable studio for live gig and on location recording. i have a good idea of most of what i'll need at this point, but i am in a quandary about headphones.
every room i walk into will be different, every band i record will be different, every thing will be different every time. headphones will be important as i will need to locate every mic properly for the best possible sound i can get out of each mic/instrument/room. what kind of headphones will be best for that? money isn't really an object, but cheaper is better if they do the job i need them to do.
