Headphones for Normal Day Usage?

I am looking for a pair of over-the-ear headphones to use with my iPod and on planes and whatnot (not for studio usage).

My main concerns are comfort and sound quality. Noise canceling would be nice, but not necessary. Price is not a big deal either..

I was looking at the Bose QuietComfort2's.. but I've heard that they sound a little muddy with no definition in the mids or highs. I was also looking at the Sony MDR-NC50's...

Anyone have any opinions or suggestions?

I'm a fan of the Sennheiser HD212's for around $50. They sound good to me.
