Headphone Recommendations

I get the feeling this has probably been covered somewhere in the depths, but I couldn't find it.

I need a recommendation for a good set of headphones for less than $100.00. The two-fold purpose is monitoring for irregularities in my mix and monitoring while recording additional tracks.

Any and all recs appreciated.

I use headphones when editing as they're good for hearing clicks and pops, and for monitoring when I'm doing multitracked parts. Just got a wireless set, Senn HDR 110, that works great for me. My best tracking room at home is a long way from my monitoring and gear room. I run long mic cables and don't monitor when playing solos, but the wireless headphones make multitrack monitoring while I'm playing very simple. Pretty good sound quality trouble free. Man it's nice not to have a cable attached to me.

here's a second for either the
akg 240s
or the sennheiser hd 280s

i'd say the akg's are better listening more "real life" (not to be confused with more accurate)

and the sennheisers are good for just plane getting anal on some sounds
(i'd describe them as clinical)

i have a pair of each and use them both regularly.
