Have you guys problems with Guitar Rig 4?

Hey, when i use GR4 along Adobe, the overall sound quality decreases in comparison when i'm using GR4 as a standalone, which has a great sound, any experience like this? would you recommend another software for VST plugins?

I'm using a M-Audio interface in both VST and Standalone modes, i accept suggestions, thanks!
