Has anyone tried these?

Klipsch Ultra 2.0 computer monitors:

I'm looking for a new pair of computer speakers as an alternate source when mixing (outside of my regular monitors and headphones) and thought these looked decent.

The other speakers I'm looking at are the Edirol MA-7A.

Figured I'd check with you guys and get your input and insight. Let me know what you think. Thanks!

Uh...those Klipsch's are not monitors at all...they're just a pair of desktop monitors for normal music listening and gaming. but yea, u can definitely get it if u like it...

Well the Edirol's are pretty good..atleast if u dont require too much power, then its fine since it does not have much RMS. but they do give quite an accurate response.

Thanks for the heads up and the link to the other thread. I searched for Klipsch Ultra before I posted but nothing came up...?

Any other suggestions for CPU speakers in that price range ($100) or are the Edirols the best thing going?

My first monitors were the Edirol MA10A. Small little suckers and not much power. While I knocked them pretty hard after upgrading, they did a respectable job for what they are. When I listen back to the stuff that I recorded and mixed with them, everything sounds well balanced frequency wise.

The pair of Edirol's you're looking at don't have a tweeter / only have one driver for all frequencies. Weird.

Interesting - there are 11 reviews of that product - but you can't read any of them. What the heck is up with that?!?!

Tim

There are 11 ratings, but not reviews. On MF, you can rate an item without reviewing it.
