Guitar Tracks Pro/SMPTE

Does anyone know if Cakewalk's new Guitar Tracks Pro supports SMPTE/Midi Time Code sync? Will it sync to an external clock? Thanks.
 
Sonar is the only current Cakewalk product that supports SMPTE. I have HS2002 and it does support MTC and external clock sources - don't know about GS2002.

If in doubt, just buy HS2002 ($70) - it is the most feature filled Cakewalk product after Sonar. If you really need SMPTE, you're gonna have to dish out the $300-400 for Sonar.
 
Thanks for the reply. SMPTE is a must. It has to sync to my ADATs and MOTU Performer. Strange that it is listed with their "professional products" yet has no syncing capability. You say that Sonar is the only "current" CW product with SMPTE. My little PC could not handle it. Do you know about Pro Audio 8 and 9? Did they have SMPTE/MTC sync? Thanks.
