Guitar Rig 5 problem

Hello,
I'm trying to set up a home recording studio.
I'm using Reaper as my sequencer and my sound card is an E-mu 1820m.

I'm concentrating on getting my guitars set up first and I've managed that fairly well using the manuals provided but I've struck a problem using Guitar Rig 5. I've no idea why but it's not receiving my input when I'm using it as a stand-alone. My sound card registers the signal, Reaper registers the signal but Guitar Rig doesn't.
It's very likely something simple that I've neglected but.......what could it be ?

OK- self solved.

You have to configure the audio settings in Guitar Rig ( File/Audio Settings ) and match your GR pairs of inputs with your sound card pairs of inputs. Also your GR output pairs with your soundcard output pairs. That's for any struggling newbs like me.
