My vote:

+1 Guild. I play a '67 T100, that I got for free. It sounds incredible even after being in an attic for about 25 years.

-1 Gibson. They're good guitars, but the markup on them is just incredible.

I gotta go + 1 for Epiphone. I love my G400

The problem is I would go - 1 for Gibson because I also feel the markup is sickening.

So I guess my contribution is negated. To make it more fair, I would split Epiphone out from Gibson and Squire out from Fender.
 
+1 Fender - I've got 4 and love them all!

I have no complaints other than I can't afford some of these brands, so I refuse to neg rep a brand based on that heh

It's tough to knock Gibson and give Epi +1 when they are lumped together. Glad to see my vote was counted. Thanks!!

Own 2 Guilds, 1 Gibson. Hooray Guild for awesome sound. Shame on Gibson for their price tag.

Fuck you ESP for buying out all of Jackson's artists to market to the new generation. Jackson will always have the sound you don't! :p
 
+1 Jackson....The best value American made neck thru guitar (not to mention starting the whole "super strat" thing)

-1 Gibson...For inflated prices and becasue I just hate them. ;)

My Vote:
+1 Peavey. Cheap gear you can trust. I've had my Peavey Guitar for years now and it still serves me well.
-1 Martin. I agree... Overrated.

Note:
You can only Heal one, and hurt one every turn. Some people above were adding 1 to multiple companies. I counted the first hurt and heal. Only one per 5 hours.
