I was having second thoughts about this purchase, so I went and cancelled it. I'm willing to spenda extra couple of hundred bucks. Now I'm taking a look at Rode NTK, Groove Tubes new GT66 (not an Alesis product, at least this is what Aspen tells me.) or a C3. I've got a C-1 and like it, but the C-3 is $100 above what I want to spend.
