I recently had my second ksm27 go bad because of the defective batch shure sent out in early 06 (its on their site). This time I acted kinda pissed off on the phone with shure cuz they told me the ksm27's were on backorder and they wouldnt be able to replace mine for about 3 weeks. I wasnt havin that so the rep actually said he'd upgrade me to a ksm32 for free... I didnt believe him but today I received a brand new ksm32. Havent got to try it out yet but I cant complain getting upgraded to a $500 mic without having to pay some extra money.....just thought I'd share.
Got upgraded to a Shure KSM32 for free.
