Good vocal condenser: tb1 or bluebird?

Hey guys,
I have all the mics I want, except for a good vocal mic. I recently borrowed a Rode NT-1 and was pleased with it, but I can't seem to find one anymore and I read/heard the nt1-a was very bright.

After some searching I am thinking about the SP TB1 and The Blue Bluebird.

I mostly record male singers (alt. country/folk/singer songwriter).

The mic has to be detailed, thick sounding and not to harsh like many mics are nowadays....

Do you have any experience with these mics or any other options under $400?

I know this question gets asked a lot, but I would love to hear some feedback about these mics. Cheers

..skip the condenser road and go straight to the land of thick, smooth and sweet...Shure SM7B...just make sure your mic pre has the ballz to drive it (65-70dB is preferable)...;)

I've got a Bluebird, and I like it. It's detailed, and not harsh, but it's not thick. Maybe sweet... but not thick.

The Shure SM7b or Oktava MK-319 mod would be good options!

The Audio Technica 4047 is another good option.

I had a Bluebird and found it a little thin and bright for the vocalist I was recording.
