Good monitors??

We need a budget...

$300 - Wharfedale Diamond 8.2's (Just PM Deepwater - He'll set you up).

Those aren't only good "novice" monitors - Those are GOOD MONITORS.

Hey there Master... what's the link to Deepwater?

I've got a pair of old-style Alesis M1's and looking for a slight upgrade. I've heard some buzz around here about those Wharfs and wanted to check em out. My recording medium is a simple Fostex VF-160 so I'm not sure how far up the quality scale I should go for monitors. Example: Monitors that are beyond the scope of the audio that my 16bit Fostex will pump out might be a waste of money... in my simple opinion. I'm trying to match some decent monitors to the Fostex and I know I can do a little better than the M1's.

Thanks

I bought a pair of Event PS6 monitors off ebay for about $225. I like them.
