What's the budget?
You probably will be best off with microphones with a narrow
response pattern to get better separation.

A good try would be a pair of Shure Beta 57a's.
Run about $100 used in excellent condition.
Slightly tighter pattern than Beta 58.

If it were for lead vocals, out of the Shure line,
the Beta 87a would be tempting.

jj_jafar, the Shure SM-57 and SM-58 mics have been standard good all around vocal mics for years.

I agree with the Senny's

We have been using the E835's . They sound a heck of a lot better than 57's or 58's beta or not. Might not be quite as rugged, but you shouldn't be bouncing them off the floor anyway.

They sound good with a wider range of voices than the Shure's.
