Going Wireless

What would you recommend for a good wireless setup for guitar that will do a good job of sending a strong signal without messing up the sound/tone of the guitar...at a somewhat reasonable (i.e., $500 or less, the lower the better) price?

Shure PG will probably be OK for a weekend warrior, less than $400. Shure SLX is pretty much the next best thing to a "real" wireless, around $550. Same for Sennheiser Evolution G2, about $450. Some have had luck with the Samson Airlines, I've never tried them.
