Going Crazy

Hi everyone,

I always have problems with mixing vocals, any suggestions?

I thought your vocals sounded good. Real good tone. You might want to compress them a little harder. Some words pop out and some words get a little buries. Nice harmonies too. Singing performances are real good.

I'm hearing some pops (some examples: 1:42, 1:52, 1:57). There are a few more. A big one at 2:16.

Yeah, nice vocal tracks. Nice work.

This works for me sometimes, suggested by some engineering guru:

Light compression at 4:1 (knocking off 2-4db) into a hard limiter (knocking off about 1db)

Sometimes it works really well to get the vox to "sit" in the mix nice.

3M - those pops, I never heard before!! Now that's all I hear! Most are coming from the organ, weird though, that's never happened to me before...I think...
