Getting trouble in Drums recording

Hi,
I am using Creative platinum sound card in my computor,Korg Trinity synthesizer,cubase,vegas and wave editer for sound recording and editing-
With anloug mixer.
I am geting trouble in recording of drums,recorded sound
of drums coming funny and like instuments as piano etc.
I am new in midi and i want to record a fully harmonized composition with the help of midi.
please help me.Thanks.

Is your drum track set to Channel 10 ?

It may be defaulting to Channel 1 and default instrument 1 --- which is piano.


Otherwise, read your manuals and Help files.

When i records drums from key board in my music soft ware {channel 10},recorded sound changes in piano or any other instruments.

It sounds to me like you need to use the sounds from your Trinity rather than trying to get results that satisfy you from your sound card. The key to this is to set the Trinity to "local off" which breaks the link between the keyboard and the sound source within.

Then you will need to set up a multi channel patch in your Trinity - this is explained in detail in your manual.
