I have an imac g4 with a motu 828.
When I go to sound options, I have the option of "internal", or "MAS"
I do not get any sound when I select MAS.
So far, I am only able to get sound to the monitors on my motu from Audio Desk ( I don't have the "real" DP yet)
What is the best solution for me to listen to a CD or something from my monitors connected to the 828?
Do I need a special CD player software? I can't just listen to whatever comes out of the mac to the 828 without sending the outs of the imac sound card into the motu?
I thought that since the unit was fire wire I wouldn't have to physically patch anything! I guess I will need a 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch stereo cord, if that will even work.
