General opinions of Sonar 7 PE... ?

Just got this installed on my DAW, haven't had the opportunity to use it yet, but wanted to get some opinions on it. Looks like a pretty kick-ass setup. Anybody... ?:D
 
I find Sonar to be brilliant. I just bought Sonar 8 and I'm so glad I took the plunge. I've used Cubase SX3 quite a lot at someone else's studio and always liked that quite a lot, but Sonar seems to top it. Not sure about Cubase 4 though - heard a lot of good stuff about that too :)

But really, Cubase or Sonar, you can't go wrong. They'll both let you do whatever you want to do and do it well.
 

:D Running it with Windows XP Pro, PIV, 3G memory, loving it! Just finished playing with it a little bit, recording some guitar riffs & getting some stuff down while the juices are flowing, so to speak! Bit of a learning curve, as I'm stepping up from Cool Edit Pro. I think I'm going to enjoy this much, much more...

I've been running 7 for a couple months now (upgraded from 5).

Love the fact that I can sidechain compressors now... Among the other goodies.

I'm on Sonar 8 Producer, and LOVE it.:) Rock solid. 7 was a little crash happy on my setup, but 8 works great.

Buy it, try it for a couple of months.

It's too versatile & complex DAW to tell the whole story.
