some people say 'i use this program for drums and that to edit etc etc'
i was wondering how this is done, once u've got the drums or whatever u need, how do u put in a particular program to make a final mix, just by importing the file or something? can u run into compataility issues?

also, are there any good electronic music websites with information on what is available software wise with discussion about music and making it etc etc.
i like stuff like mouse on mars, fennesz etc

thanks,

nunavut. it was kinda vague. you can record drums several ways.
using midi into a midi equipped pc using trigger pads and a drum brain,
preprogramming drums on a rhythm box and recording its midi output.
playing an acoustic mic'd drum kit and recording the audio on a pc for example. if you need software to do this. check out powertracks that i use from pgmusic.com. 29 bucks for 48 tracks. you can edit the drum tracks to your hearts content and record anything else you want as well.
if you give more info on what your trying to do, i'll try and help.
