Bout my Les Paul a couple years ago. Thought it was amazing. Except for robotuners...
Wasn't fond of the idea, but went with it. Used them to get close and then fine-tuned after.
Spent WAY too much time having to re-tune.
Battery started to get weak.
Final straw? Lost the charger.

Anyone else have problems with this?
Bought some Grover locking machine heads and going to install them when I get a chance.

I had some Grovers that were getting a bit worn and sloppy, and I got some locking Grovers to replace them. GREAT move. It makes string changes much quicker and easier, and it smoothed out the tuning process. The replacement was a breeze, unscrew the old ones, put in the new ones.

I've never fooled with Robotuners, but I probably would have changed them out if I bought a guitar that had them to start with. Tuning isn't that hard to do!

A friend sold his robotuner les paul, he seems to like his 59 reissue the best., old school
I recall at first he was trying to "sell them," as cool , but it was like he was trying to convince himself. Over time he went back to normal-standard tuners.
all I can share on the robo's
