I just got an older trial version of fruity loops that lets you save your files. when ever I go to open them in cool edit it just makes one louds noise for a second. can you use fruity loops sounds in CE if so how?

Save your fruity loops (or 'fuity loops' - I love that) session as a wav file. You can select a bit depth to match your Cool Edit session. I use 32-bit float (0.24). Close out of Fuity Loops. Import the Fuity track into Cool.

It should work.

thanks. I tried what you said and it worked poifectly. Know I can start experimenting with drums in my music.
On another note were would I go to find information on looping. there must be certain techniques involeved.

what trial version do you have? do you think you could email me a copy of the install or something? i downloaded the latest trial and on top of half the features being locked, 99% of the samples aren't even working...
