I have a 2488neo purchased about a year and a half ago from BH Photo - new. I used it for one project with some old bandmates, and it has been sitting on a shelf since. I upgraded the hard drive per a tutorial I found online (can't remember the darn HD size) but it is the largest size recognizable by the neo.
I also removed and replaced the thin plastic covering the display with a custom cut piece of clear lexan. I was afraid if anything accidentally fell on it - the display would be toast.
So other than a short ride in the car to the guitar players house, it has been used only in my home. I have the unit, manual, AC cable.
I want to find it a good home. I'm asking $500 for it shipped to anywhere in the USA from Boston, which I believe to be a fair price based on the condition and the HD upgrade. Happy to answer any questions you might have! Thanks - Kurt
