I have a pair of Sennheiser MD 408 dynamic microphones. They date from the late 60's-early 70's and seem to be very close in serial number. The element supposedly is the same used in the MD 409 microphone, the fact that it's placed in a ball/gooseneck mount changes the sound (attenuates the low frequencies).
They are clean, working and one comes with original box. I put together new tuchel to XLR cables so you'll have no problem with the interface. They sound good even with the low end roll-off due to their design.
I've owned these microphones since the mid 1970's. They're quirky and a conversation piece.
$200 for the pair plus 3% for paypal and shipping (USPS Priority box).
Sold as a pair. 100% on ebay (ask for my ebay sig) and successfully bought and sold on GS.
Thanks for looking!
