The downside to selling off your gear is, 10 minutes after writing the check, you're broke again.

And the gear is gone too.

geez - isnt that the truth. in the past, i have frikkin' agonized about buying gear for $300-400 or so, only to have my wife waltz in with $300-400 worth of new clothes. so, i bought an 8 channel millennia media HV-3D - that'll teach her...of course, now i am TOTALLY wiped financially, but i dont have to worry about preamps ever again. ha!
