For sale: 2003 Martin D16-RGT

This is the gloss finished top, satin finished back offering in the Martin line. Top is solid sitka spruce, sides are solid EI Rosewood. The neck/bridge are Micarta. Tusq saddle. No modifications have been made.

Guitar is about as fresh as you can get without getting it directly from the factory. Minor hairline strumming marks on pickguard, no dents/gouges/funny business. The Sitka top is still very light as it has stayed in the case most of its life.

My original intention was to use this as a backup live guitar, after fitting it with a pickup and strap button. As the guitar collection grew and the number of gigs diminshed, I've found that I just don't need this guitar. That and I've got 'small luthier electric guitar' G.A.S.!

At $700 I'm pretty interested.....let me see what I can get for my Martin from my music store tommorow, and I'll get back to you.
