This is a Vintage 1960's neck from a Vietnam Era Serviceman's copy of a Fender Jaguar. It is 22 frets, Maple with a darker colored fingerboard. Most of what I've read about these guitars state that the neck is a dyed maple. There is no truss rod or date on this neck but the lacuer has a nice yellowed color to it. The fingerboard shows obvious wear. This copy was played and played. Its full of vintage mojo! I bought the complete guitar from eBay in 2005 and disassembled it to rebuild. I had the neck refretted at the last 2 frets for a total of $115. Somewhere in the past year, the body of the guitar has disappeared from my mom's house and I no longer have need for the neck, so my loss is your gain. The neck has a string retainer and the tuner holes look like they'd fit Vintage Klusons. I have the original open-geared strip tuners if the buyer wants them.
