2004 model. Played maybe 3 times, never left the house. Absolutely gorgeous red finish. It looks lighter than it really is in these photos. The red is deeper and awe-inspiring. One of the sexiest finishes I've ever seen on a guitar. Anyone who has seen one of these in person would back me up on this. Includes hardshell case, all documentation, etc.

Asking $900 shipped. Money order/checks only, I don't have Paypal. Plenty of references from board members available. If this looks familiar to you, it was one of the items in my huge liquidation sale last year that didn't get sold.

Thats an amazing instrument, i have seen them and person and that finish IS Breath taking, but what is the diffrence between the studio models and regular Les pauls?

i saw one last night at an open mic, it was a beautiful guitar. The difference between the studio and the "regular" les paul doesn't exist, because there is no "regular" Les Paul.

The most noticeable feature change between the studio models and say, standard models, is that there isn't a binding on the studio LPs. That said, once you get down to the specs, the only thing they really have in common is body shape.

The studio's are great guitars, and this is a pretty solid deal. I bought a bunch o' stuff off Darkstar a few months back, he gets the thumbs up for sure! A great seller, and you can be sure that what ever you are shipped will come with plenty of bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts! lol.

LP is right, the binding is different and the pickups on the various Les Pauls vary. Here are a couple links for comparison between the Studios, Classics and Standards.

And everyone stop making fun of me for my packaging! I have a bubble wrap fetish that I'm currently in therapy for :)

Les Paul Standard & Classic 1960 RI have slim taper neck

The studio model has a wider neck (59 Rounded neck)...I have a Les Paul Standard 1960's reissue which has the slim taper neck, for my hands it plays much better than the wide necks of other LP's. Also the BustBucker (humbucker) pickups come on the Standard. The Studio pickups are 490R & 498T alnico magnet humbuckers.

Forgot to mention I will take trades or partial trades. Looking for, but not limited to, some kind of Firewire interface with 8+ inputs, like a MOTU or an M-Audio Firewire 1814. Rackmount mixer of some sort if I can't find an interface. Decent laptop (not neccesarily for recording). Try me I guess, address above.
