Fruity Loops is Generic

I think fruity loops came out before most programs like ableton, reason, orion, recycle...ha the majority of them. The stock sounds, just in general lack in variety - but there are soooo many available to download. As far as making beats its the way to go.
 
FL is a beast, I know people that use it that have thousands of sounds and they don't use any "orginal" fruity loop instraments just sounds they have downloaded and inserted it into the program and you can't even tell that it was made on FL. So get new sounds learn how to use it and then have fun.
 
Most software is sick these days...FL included...anything that lets you have an endless arsenal of sounds is good.

Word of advice...never rely on the stock sounds alone...they usually aren't that great for a reason...they want you to go out and buy more of them. But if you know how to shop around...you can find some good sounds to boost your skills.

So are you crying because your stock sedan can't go out an win the Indy500 too???

Stock sounds in ANY program are starting EXAMPLES, not an end-all toolkit.

What type of beats are you most likely trying to create? As posted before... The generic sounds are ment for you to go out and purchase more... This can be a costly project...Just depends on how serious you are about your music.:cool:
