from VS840 to ?

I have a VS-840 that I record on but am having trouble when it comes to mixdown to PC. When I send it out where do I send it to?

Any ideas as to what program I could use on the PC? Where do I send the song to on my PC in order to be able to post it to websites? I tried sending it to Audacity but the recording skips toward the end of the recording.

You will have to tell which sound card you own, in order for us to tell you want kind of cable to use.

If you are sending a two track mix to the computer I would suggest Sound Forge 7.0.

OK I went to Hitsquad. There are a ton of programs there - does anyone have any suggestions on a particular one they use or have heard about?
