Why post on mspace? The sound quality on soundclick is far better and mp3lightning is excellent. DYSAF & post files somewhere half decent.

Finally got there.
The songs sre fine - if somewhat genre defined and restricted in dymanics as a result.
The drum sound like some one playing a jazz kit - snappy & light. What program or machine did you use?
There's a severe lack of bottom end in all of these recordings.
Are the guitars modeller based? - they don't sound like there's been any air moved about. Some of the distortion is very fizzy - not much meat.
Not a bad beginning.
When you say you now 5 singers who sound pro what exactly do you mean? That they fit the genre? That they sond like some one else?
That they have control of their breathing, intonation and diction?
That they are expressive?
That you like them?
Some of the idol contestants sound pro but...
You REALLY should post somewhere in addition to mspace. I have an half dozen songs on mspace just because it's a popular networking site but I link back to more songs at soundclick as the options on quality are far better & if a punter is interested they'll go there.
Facebuuk is the pits musically.

First I would like to thank you for taking a listen.

That drum machine was a Dr. Rhythm 600 - programmed it to sound that way (I was listening to to much thrice.)

Yeah the recording aint the best; i did it in my living room with a desk top and 4 track; I didn't have the sweet monitors and didn't want to risk having too much bass so I went easy on it.

Yeah guitars are direct line through a line 6 flex tone 3 onboard modeler. I don't got any sweet mics at home either, or the iso booth and neighbors that would deal with it. If you listen close enough you can actually hear the line noise buried in the mix.

I just mean 5 signers who sound major label material - or rock str caliber; im not very analytical when it comes to vox; i can hear a problem or area for improvment and redirect it to maximize performance - but I can't make an authoritative assesment required to satisfiy your question. I got good ears, and they sound good. I could easily associate them with sounding like someone else but they dont really (311 sounds like zepplin musically (not really, but really, u know))

I think that is amazing that you could hear that there was no air pushed into any mics.

The more that I try to sing - I am becoming more inclined just to do it myself

I would like to know what do you mean by genre defined? I mean what genre do you hear?

Wheres your song?

You should sing, even if only to give a guide or idea of the melody you intend. You can always record with someone else later.
I don't sing because I CAN'T - I'm soo bad I'm not allowed to hum around the house.
My song/s. If interested try one of these, (the 1st has the better sound quality):
