Fostex X-28 defect?

Hi!

I've got a Fostex X-28H. My problem now is, that I can use it, as long as I try to press play for the Tape, If I do so, nothing happens, then all lights are on at the Display! I had to switch off and on again to be able to mix.

I can only use it to mix, record and playback won't work :/

Anybody has an idea, if it is fixable or is it comletely hopeless?

I realize this is 2 years after you posted this, but yes, mine does the same thing. I bought mine on Ebay. You sell yours to me by any chance?

mine too just reset without tape in, put tape in and away u go
