formatting external harddrive

I tried to format my Lacie external drive to FAT32 because my school uses mac and I have windows but if I go to disc management then format, there is no choice except NTFS.

Is it even possible to format to FAT32 using a windows system? Thanks

Have you tried deleting the existing logical drives, and deleting partitions on the drive first?

Do this.. then 'Create a new partition'. Then format that partition.

Just format it on one of the Macs at school. Should take all of ten seconds to figure out how to do it....

Thanks, I finally formatted it using a program called fat32format.
