For all you experienced people

I recently bought a Yamaha Motif 8
I like the sounds it has but I want to know what my options are for expanding it.
I know I can get expansion cards.
I know I can get sample cd's in the yamaha format.
But what else can I do.
I have heard about Gigastudio and was probably going to get that. Can I get a bunch of sounds for Gigastudio and use my motif 8 as a master and play the sounds off of the gigastudio through that? And how exactly does that work?

If you don't feel like explaining maybe you could post a link to somewhere to read about this.

I know there is a website/forum for Motif users. Do a search and you should find it. It's probably a great source for information.

WTF? Do you want to rule the world with your synth? What else do you want to do?
I'd bet my left nut, you are 2 years away from knowing everything about that synth. Concentrate on learning all of the synths feature and learn how to programme it, and you shouldn't really need anything else that can't already be provided by expansions or sample disks.
Gigastudio is just a softsampler. You have a sampler already.

BTW, did you buy it around here, new?
