Hi all,
Looking for some opinions on devices to switch patches.
I'm working on a theatre production where we need to hook up a Yamaha P60 to a keyboard module--the main issue is that the P60 cannot change the patches.
I found a device called the MIDI Mouse ( http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Tech-21-MIDI-Mouse?sku=704450 ) which has been around for years, but it appears that it does not support banks, and in whichcase may not work.
I don't need to switch any banks, as I will program the sounds into one bank--I just can't tell if it will remain in the proper bank.
Does anyone know if this device will work, or of another that will serve this purpose?
Also, if it's something commonly available, that'd be great, as the theatre company would most likely prefer to rent the device if possible.
