Focusrite Saffire Info

I contacted the people at Focusrite, to see what converters this interface would use, and tis is they're response.

DAC is a Cirrus 42428
ADC is a National ADCS7478


I've never heard of these...

Alot of people talk pretty heavily about which chip converters use and such. The truth in the matter is that is only a small part of the sound of a converter. Most of it has to do with the circuitry around it
