Flattest response budget headphones?

I'm looking to buy a pair of studio headphones to use about three times a week for three years to do some media work.

I'm looking for the flattest response, as I may mix on them now and again. I'm looking for something comfortable and that cause as less ear fatigue as possible.

I am looking around the £100 range, but will stretch if the leap is worth it!

Does anyone recommend a pair?

Audio Technica ATH-M50

Check e-bay. In the States you can typically buy brand new sets for @ $100USD off e-bay. I've replaced all my Sony's with these. I still like my AKG K-500 best, but they no longer make them and they are over your budget.

Don't know how they are priced in the UK, but I'd hope less than 100 quid.

Ditto on the ATH-M50. Best closed cans I've used.

ATH-M50. You can't go wrong. I have two favs -- Grado SR-80 (open) and Audio Technica ATH-M50s (closed).
