I just moved my PC from my school to my home and all the sudden when I reconnected my M-audio firewire solo, it stops working properly!
Here is the issue:
I plugged in the firewire solo to the firewire port before turning on the computer and tried to play a song and it just gave me a beep sound from the computer. Then I tried to click on the red icon for the m-audio mixer, and it wouldn't open.
So I tried removing the m-audio firewire drivers and reinstalled, but now the red mixer icon won't even load up and I still have issues getting the firewire solo to work.
Now this past august when I moved my PC to my school the m-audio firewire solo worked fine, but not it just won't work! I don't think I hotplugged the device either.
Does anyone know what is wrong and what I can do to get this soundcard working?
