okay i recently got a presonus firepod, i followed the instructions and hooked it up to my mac laptop and it works amazingly, i have a desktop pc that i also want to record with, so i got a firewire pci card so i could hook my firepod up to my desktop and i followed the instructions, installed the drivers correctly and i installed the cubase software and followed the instructions, now my problem, i cant enable the firepod for mono recording from each channel, and when i record a part from the firepod it looks like ive recorded an audio file, but when i play it back usually nothing comes out, sometimes it does and it sounds like i put the thing i recorded into a ring mod, it sounds horrible, i dont know what it is, but my only guess is that its because i cant choose to run the audio back through the computer speakers, instead it runs through the firepod, any help is very very very much appriciated.
