I am planning on connecting my mic pre to my converter to my pc via firewire. I am going to need an attenuation controller to control the volume on my studio monitors. Would it be fine for me to just use my firepod to do this? I would get the TC Electronic Level Pilot but I also need a headphone jack. I am trying to do this as cheap as possible, without sacrificing quality.
