Finishing touches to homestudio

Hi All,
Posted here a while back when I was just starting work on an attic studio. Anyway, it's built now and is ready for final fitting out before the desk and gear is brought in.

THe room measures roughly 4m x 5m and allowing for where the stud walls start (away from the eaves area) the vertical walls height is 1.3m which then goes to a pitched ceiling with a centre height 3m at the apex. To reduce relections and add some additional soundproofing I am having a thick carpet with specialist underlay fitted to the floor but I was also toying with the idea of carpeting the walls up to the 1.3m mark (where the roof starts to pitch upwards). The carpets are being professionally fitted so now would be the ideal opportunity to get the walls done properly IF that is a good idea....

Should I carpet the walls? I also have some bass traps and about 40 spikey accoustic foam tiles for treating the sloping ceiling areas - I'll post another thread with photos looking for advice on placing the accoustic tiles when I get to that stage. Carpet or no carpet??
