Just been trolling through ebay and there were some Fender Mini Amps, 1 watt, 9v battery. Anyone heard them? They are not very expensive. Comments anyone?
I bought one a few weeks ago as a practice amp. Main thing I like was I could plup headphones in. Out of all the tiny amps I have played on, I think this is one of the better sounding ones.
How cheap are they? Roland Microcubes are pretty small, and sound pretty good, as in, I would consider running one through a PA for a gig, if there were a space concern. Somebody on HC is selling one used for $85.
It's actually really loud for its size and if you like the tone you may even be able to use it for recording. The battery life lasts awhile but I always hook it up with an adapter.
Has anyone checked out the Westlabs "PicoFire"??
One of my guitar guru buddies did some tracking using one and the tracks came out sounding fantastic. Way better than the pod he had been using.
About 8 watts from a single 6BQ5. Next time I'm in Michigan I will check it out.
