Feeding Cords into Recording Room

Hey HR users. I'm in the process of planning my recording booth build and I was wondering how most of you guys (or girls) run your cords for mics, amps, ect ect into your recording room. Mine will not have a power supply in it, aside from a light. Is the best way to just have a small hole in the wall and run it through that? Any help would be great.

That's pretty much it, unless you put electrical boxes, conduit and patch plates in. You would have to put a box for the low level signal, like mic, line and instrument signals and a different box for the high level signals like speaker lines.

For my drum room, I just have a snake fed through a 4 inch PVC pipe that I build into the wall. That pipe is stuffed with Auralex foam to keep the sound from coming through it.

All of my other rooms have patch panels that are run through the wall in conduit, just like the electric.
