I've been trying to record audio using Ableton Live, and I've got a problem when using plug-ins.
I tried using Amplitube, and there's a very loud kind of feedback sound whenever I try to raise the volume anywhere. Anything that makes the signal any louder gives the feedback sound.
Nothing clips on the screen, nothing clips on the mixer, I just get this loud, unwanted sound through the monitors.
Where the hell does it come from? I'm not playing too close to the monitors, I don't have long unbalanced cable runs... The sound is very clear, I can even record it. But I can't use a plug-in because as soon as I try to use it, I get the feedback sound.
This post probably lack some details, but I really don't know what's relevant in that case. Got any ideas what could be wrong?
