Stevie Wonder
Alicia Keyes
Esthero

Jhelisa
Brian McKnight
Boyz to Men

and especially

Kurt Elling - !Check him out!

...and for the classics I can't forget:

Bonnie Rait
Robert Plant (when he still had that amazing falcetto years ago)
Billie Holliday
Ella Fitzgerald

I love all of these vocalists, and have used each of them as vocal studies in at least one form or another.

Hey, were opened minded...What ever rolls your socks down.

Fave vocalist?

Though he's not known as singer and never recorded or performed with a band, his VOICE was nonetheless
more melodic than any-1 I've ever heard b-4!
His specialty was in the"SPOKEN WORD" where he had great command of his vocals!
He knew how to apply crescendo when aptly needed and mellowness during soft passages! His voice can invoke fire & passion moving the listener so forcefully yet graciously!

I wish I had his vocal talents!

His name was MARTIN LUTHER KING Jr.!!!
