I'm wanting to upgrade with new mobo & cpu, and dual boot 98se and 2000 or xp pro. I think I read somewhere that 98se would not support a cpu faster than 2.0? True? Not true?
Fastest cpu with win98se?

Because of my damn ADAT edit card. I still use it for transfers to the pc and really don't want to spend the cash for a different card because this one actually does transfers quite well. It only works in 98 or 98se. Hence the dual boot. Actually I was planning to put 98se and the ADAT software on a drive in a removable caddy, and 2000 or xp and everything else on another. If Alesis would just give us few remaining users an update, none of this would be necessary!!!
