-M-Audio Fast Track Pro
-Tascam US122L
What I am looking for is a recording interface with the following features as minimum:
-cheap
-2 analog inputs
-2 mic preamps
-phantom power
-midi I/O
-portable (USB or Firewire)
-Windows(ASIO) and linux compatible
they both have the mentioned features, only thing I don't know is if they work with linux (I run Ubuntu Studio 7.10 sometimes) and would like to know if one is better than the other and why.
