fast playback

has anybody else had this problem?

when I record vocals in audition and playback theyre slightly faster than the rest of the track. I thought maybe the latency thing was making it be off, but when i lined the beginning of the vocals up they were just going faster. How is this happening?

Sounds like you're recording them at 44.1kHz while the rest of the stuff is at 48kHz.
