Fascist Shoes, Face issues, Phase problems?

Hello. If using to mics how does a newbie like myself know if something is out of phase or not? Do the microphones need to be at the same distance? What about room mics and close mics? Or a dynamic mic and a condenser mic on the same guitar amp? Or two amps one giutar two mics? One mic? Sorry for the ignorance, but that's what the site is for, no?

do a search, there are lots of posts with your question. phase is a question that is asked regularly

if thare are two mic's on something (anything) and it sounds like poo (maby even if it doesn't)
try moveing one, and if the sound changes, that's from phaseing.

be careful, useing 2 mics on the same thing can sometimes be more trouble than it's worth.
