fade and volume controls missing

i have a few tracks in a project and two of the audio files do not have the blue little triangles on the top left and right corners and the square on the middle of the top, they are there on all the other files just not these two ?

is there something i can do to get them back ?

If you are talking about the left and right indicators, press the Ctrl key and click on the ruler to set the left indicator and press the Alt key and click on the ruler to set the right indicator. You can set them typing in the locations to the transport also.

If it's not that then just look up the different user options for setting up in your manual. You might find an option there that will work better for your work flow than the defaults.

Not sure, but it may be possible to lock a track or event. try to highlight them, then check the edit menu.

Every version of Cubase is different, and I'm not in front of my computer just now...
