Got EZ drummer. Never used it before. I need to know if I have to use drum maps to use it, or should it just lay down like an audio track?

I dont really know to much about drum maps, but i use a keyboard which controls the drums via midi.
I have Sonar 7XL. I wish I knew a little more as to how to use the drumkit and such, it would definetly open quite a few more doors for me if i did.
As far as EZ drummer goes though, I would think those would be midi??????? not sure though. But either way it would be compiled the same way as an audio track in sonar. Just set up the Cakewalk TTS which should control the midi files....if thats what they are with ez drummer.
If they are audio files or wav files then just save those files so they are easy to get to when sonar is up, then simply drag and drop.
